Amazon Snaps Up Video Game Provider Reflexive

Reflexive Entertainment CEO Lars Brubaker has announced that Amazon has agreed to acquire the company he co-founded.
Reflexive isn’t particularly new to the game. The Orange County, California based company was founded in 1997 and produced games like Wik and the Fable of Souls, Big Kahuna Reef, Music Catch and the Ricochet series. The company also set out to build a development and distribution platform for PC, Mac and
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Nice caveat: according to an old interview GameZone did with Brubaker, the start-up capital for getting the company off the ground was secured in the form of a loan from Microsoft veteran Marlin Eller.
