Rumor: Palm Pre must be prepped for launch by May 16th

Who woulda thought: you start telling Sprint employees about the Palm Pre, and suddenly the details start pouring out. If you’re all antsy in the pantsies about the possibility of an April release of the Pre, you might want to breath a little; all signs are pointing to May, including this latest leak.
Obtained by Engadget, the freshly free’d document indicates that the Sprint folk in charge of the Pre launch have until May 16th to batten down the hatches.
This goes hand-in-hand with previous rumors of a May 17th launch – but seeing as just about every day in the first half of 2009 has been a rumored launch date and some point, that admittedly doesn’t say much.
What do you think – can you wait another month?
