Palm Pre Release News: 375000 units rumored for launch

It has been reported that Palm are considering capping the number of initial Palm Pre production units to just 375,000. If it turns out to be true, you should be thinking of where you are going to set up camp near release date.
As reported from Palluxo, the news came from a recent Bloomberg article. While Palm’s obvious intentions is to increase hype for the Pre, the move could backfire once units run out, sparking a war amongst angry customers.
Would 375,000 units for such an in-demand phone be enough for everyone at launch? The worst thing to happen to Sprint and Palm is for them to run out of stock and then then customers jump ship to the new Apple iPhone.
