In common terms, government grants mean free money which is given by the government to individuals and companies and this money does not have to be repaid at a later date. Nowadays, you always hear or see the promotion of “Getting free grant to pay off your existing debt, buying a new house, purchasing a new car, going on a vacation, etc.” Bear in mind, all these statements are nonsense. They totally do not EXIST. If you receive calls or emails that offer you these grants, they are 100% scammers! US government would never give out grants for citizens to overcome personal debt issues.

On the other hand, depending on your personal situations, it is possible that you may qualify for a grant that will help to eliminate part of your outstanding debt when it comes to prolonged treatments for a medical condition that prevents you from working. Under this circumstance, you stand a good chance to obtain this financial aid.

Besides, at state level, personal grants are normally given to selected

individuals for their college and tuition fees. However, for women who have intention to start up their businesses, they are also eligible for free grants. They can run their businesses with free money and they don’t need to pay back any single cent.

Frankly speaking, grants to pay off personal debts are indeed rare. Do not rely on any grant application to be approved. Find other ways to solve when you are drowned in deep debt.
