In order to provide financial assistance to citizens during global economy crisis, the US government has allocated a lot of free grants to be given to those people who are really in need. Currently, there are 22 grants which individuals can apply for. Let’s take a closer look on what types of personal grants are available through national, state and local government agencies.
In general, the personal grants offered by government are for the following purposes:
• Assisting entrepreneurs with small businesses to maintain and expand their operations. The main purpose of doing so is to create more job opportunities as well as to develop the community
• Providing financial assistance to low income people who need health care protection
• Providing free college tuition fees to selected students
• Assisting women who need financial assistance for higher education, starting new business or expanding existing business. Free money is also given to women who are from low income family to support their livelihood
Besides, the government also offers grants for conducting researches which focus on economic and technological advancement. All these grants are TOTALLY FREE, in other words, for those who are benefited from these grants, they don’t need to pay back the government.
However, you have to bear in mind that free grant does not mean free lunch. Not everyone can be benefited. Until today, there is no free money given by the government for personal financial assistance or personal debt. If you expect to settle your credit card debt by applying free grant, you should quit thinking about it. It is impossible!
