It was a toss up between this EEE PC and the Toshiba nb310. While I still like the keyboard style of the Toshiba better, the EEE PC has some features that are pretty awesome!

Pros:
- A 160 gig hard drive with two primary partitions out of the box! This means that all I had to do to install a second operating system (for a dual boot setup) was to use a bootable usb drive and start installing. No partitioning required!

- A built in recovery partition. This means that I can hit F9 and have the system recover to a freshly installed windows xp system. i.e. I don't have to keep any installation disks or usb drives handy for recovery. Even better - the recovery system is smart enough to leave the second partition intact. So I can move all my files and data to the second partition, restore windows xp from the recovery partition, and I have a fresh system with all my files intact on the second partition. I had to try this twice just to be sure! :)

- Sweet battery life. Haven't don

Thanks for posting this article. I'm definitely frustrated with struggling to search out relevant and brilliant commentary on this subject. Everybody now goes to the very far extremes to either drive home their viewpoint that either: everyone else in the planet is wrong, or two that everyone but them does not really understand the situation. Many thanks for your succinct, applicable insight.

The Kindle2 got me reading again after 20 years. It is just about perfect as a reading device. A bit expensive, but worth getting. If you have the cash, you like to read.... get it.

An unbelievable selection of media! I get books from Amazon and Fictionwise.

I love science fiction..... almost 7000 books (SF) on amazon alone will keep me busy for a lifetime!

Absolutely love reading on the Kindle. The 16 shades of grey are really easy on the eyes. Being able to access the Kindle store at the touch of a button is a really nice feature. I subscribed to the Washington Post which downloads every morning. That alone makes the Kindle worth it. $25 dollars cheaper than getting the post delivered to my door.

Would recommend this to anyone who loves to read or wants to start reading. Makes reading enjoyable and faster.

Now you have Tails on your side to combat that evil Dr. Robotnic! This game has better graphics, a new feature (the charge-up spin) multiplayer, and fun levels! A great addition to any Genesis library!

I just got my Motorola Evoke QA4 yesterday, September 10, 2009, and I have had so many glitches on this phone that it isn't funny! I'll turn my phone sideways to activate the QWERTY touch screen and when I'm finished with my message and I go to tap the green check mark to send, it freezes up and I'll push the main button that'll take you to your app's and somehow the main screen with be tied up with my text message that I tried to send. THey're both froze together and then I have to take that battery out and put it back in and turn the power back on and wait 2-3 minutes for it to surface. I do love this little phone, but it had WAY too may glitches and I'm considering returing it just for that matter. No one wants a phone that doesn't work correctly, right?
